Michael G. Miller, CLU, ChFC, MSFS is the Owner and President of Michael G. Miller and Associates, LLC. He is a 1972 Willoughby South High graduate and a 1976 graduate of Mount Union College with a degree in Psychology. During his time at Mount Union, he earned an Ohio Athletic Conference Championship title in wrestling and qualified for the National Championship twice. He attended John Carroll University during the years 1976-77.
Michael has been in the financial industry for over 40 years, earning the titles of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1986, Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1987, and a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) in 1999, all from The American College. He was inducted into John Hancock/ Signator Financial Services' Hall of Fame in 2005.* Michael currently holds his Life, Health and Annuity License, as well as the Series 6, Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 licenses.
Michael believes very much in giving back to his community, where he was born, raised, and has resided all of his life. He takes pride in being a past member of the Willoughby Rotary Club, and the former Willoughby Jaycee’s. Michael served on the Willoughby-Eastlake Board of Education for five years, making important decisions for his local school district and was a Sunday school teacher for five years. He is a member of the Heritage Endowment Club of the Lake County YMCA. Michael also continues to be a prominent financial supporter of the Willoughby Food Pantry, which his grandmother started over 30 years ago. One of his greatest joys was coaching his son Bob’s Willoughby Little League football team as defensive coordinator for three years.
Michael resides in Willoughby, Ohio with his wife of 43 years, Judy and their two Maltese dogs, Lizzie and Lulu. They have three children, Gabrielle, Alana and Bob, three grandchildren, Acacia, Gregory and Mack, and two grand-dogs, Lola and Maybley. Michael is an avid golfer, playing all over the world, from Scotland, England, Denmark, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Antigua, The Caribbean, Hawaii as well as all over the continental United States. In his spare time, Michael enjoys reading novels of all kinds and playing the guitar. He has amassed a vinyl record collection of over 3,000 albums, most of which span the 1950’s-1980’s era. In the past few years, Michael and Judy have enjoyed travelling the United States to various golf destinations.
